Long term kitchen shutdown

Shutting down your kitchen during COVID-19.

Here we go again!  Lockdown 2 brings another rapid shutdown of your kitchen equipment.

As the lockdown is relatively short then no real need for any special procedures.  Carry out your normal shut-down of equipment, clean and disinfect.  Critical cleaning of the equipment should be done before re-opening, not at shutdown.  As a precaution, isolate all water and gas supplies.

As it is not an extended lockdown there will be no need to have it re-inspected by an Engineer before it can be brought into use.
